Testimonios
" I recommend La Marelle, because my kid spent a year in this place without any day complaining to go. A lot of freedom and trust given to the kids by lovely people. In addition to this, the three languages spoken (Spanish, French and English) are perfectly sprinkled to help the kid with an abroad adaptation. A wonderful opening to the world "a casa" !

“When it was time to make the difficult decision of choosing a daycare for my 13month old son William, I had very high standards and list of "non-negotiables". One of these was the 1:5 ratio I found at La Marelle, another was regular trips outside, a respectful approach to the individual, multilingual, and of course lots of love and fun. La Marelle met all this criteria, which is why two and a half years later William is still there! Now the big boy and not the baby, William still suffers separation anxiety sometimes, but the team have always dealt with it with a lot of sensitivity (to both him and me!), and I know he is fine as soon as I am out of sight - I have the photographic evidence to prove it! Making decisions for your children is the hardest thing you can do, and I´ve agonised over many - but I have only ever felt confident in my choose of La Marelle. Alex, Micka and Chrysu know William so well now, when you can´t be with your child, it´s great to feel like you are leaving them somewhere they are loved!”

”La Marelle is a lovely place. The owner, Alex, is French and she is the main teacher there, together with one or two helpers. We find La Marelle to be very creative compared to other kindergardens. The teachers organize a lot of things for the kids to do, like baking cookies, various games, puppet shows, dancing, music, drawing etc. We like that it is not very regimented and that they let the kids explore the various toys available there, even if most of them are doing something else together. They do not force anyone to participate in a specific game or activity. In any case, the time I spent there observing, I found that the teachers are very good at keeping things interesting and engaging. The meals are prepared with organic veggies so that is a big bonus. It is not modern/high tech/brand spanking new, but what it lacks in polish it makes up in heart and substance. I sincerely have nothing negative to say about the place as we have been very happy with it.
We can be certain that whenever we pick up our daughter she has had a fun day and that she is happy and that is the most important thing!
Love to the La Marelle crew!”

"La Marelle is a wonderful, caring, co-operative space. There's a great balance of free play, activities and outings. They obviously genuinely care about the kids. The ratio of 1:5 carers to kids means that the carers can interact with the kids in a meaningful way. The staff are all multilingual, and switch languages quickly and easily to communicate with individual children. I was hesitant to start my daughter in any daycare because she was very attached to me, and had some social anxiety around other children, but Alex was very accommodating during my daughter's transition into daycare, and just 2 weeks after starting at La Marelle I saw a big improvement in her confidence in social situations. It's a big relief to have found somewhere that I feel 100% confident to leave my child."

“Deciding to leave our 2.5 year old a couple of mornings a week at La Marelle was easy! After attending a year of Gineceo and Splash workshops, getting to know Alex, the space and philosophy of La Marelle, watching how much our toddler evolved socially and got so much out of the group activities, the grupo de crianza was a happy natural conclusion.
It's been about 3 months now and we love seeing how attached Tommy has become to Alex and his little group of amigos. The small groups, personalised attention, flexible, relaxed approach suits him and us down to the ground. We look forward to picking him up and listening to him excitedly recount what he's had for lunch, list the songs they've sung, who he danced with, about the puppet show they watched or what he painted...and with the brightest smile on his face:)
For our family a structured full time guarderia wouldn't have worked, we see this as the best fitting bridge to starting school in September...and we're all super happy with our choice.”
